Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of stylists to deliver great haircuts and customer experiences
• Manage day-to-day salon operations, including scheduling, inventory, and customer service
• Split time between administrative duties and providing haircutting services to customers
• Develop and support team members through coaching, training, and performance management
• Utilize salon technology (e.g., Online Check-In, Great Clips App) to streamline operations
• Ensure a positive team culture where stylists help each other succeed
• Engage in ongoing leadership and technical training to grow your skills and the salon’s success

Requirements

• A valid Cosmetology and/or Barber License (requirements vary by state/province)
• Strong technical haircutting skills and the ability to help others grow their skills
• Proven leadership ability or readiness to take on full salon responsibility
• Excellent communication skills and a desire to motivate and develop a team
• Strong organizational skills to manage salon operations in a fast-paced environment
• Comfort with technology, including scheduling systems, metrics, and reports
• A goal-oriented mindset with a focus on team performance and customer experience
• Adaptability and problem-solving skills in a high-volume salon setting
