St. Mary's Marketplace in California, MD is hiring a Salon Manager. Responsibilities

• Set the tone for a team that runs on real systems
• Lead the team, manage salon operations, and deliver haircuts depending on salon needs
• Split time between salon management responsibilities and providing services to customers
• Coach, develop, and motivate a team of stylists
• Manage day-to-day salon operations

Schedule

• Weekdays: 9A-2:30P and 2:30P-7P, with an added 10A-6P shift Mon/Fri and 1P-6P shift Tue/Wed/Thu
• Weekends: 9A-6P, plus a 10:30A-4P shift

Pay

• $18.50/hr base plus tips, averaging $32.50-$42.50/hr total
• Salon Manager bonus: $0.25 for every haircut the salon does that week
• Product sales commission

Requirements

• Valid Cosmetology and/or Barber License (requirements vary by state/province)
• Strong technical haircutting skills and the ability to help others grow their skills and confidence
• Proven leadership ability or readiness to take on full salon responsibility
• Excellent communication skills and the desire to motivate, develop, and support a team
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage day-to-day salon operations
• Comfort with technology and salon tools (scheduling systems, metrics, and reports)
• A goal-oriented mindset with a focus on team performance and customer experience
• Adaptability and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
