Responsibilities

• Lead the team, manage salon operations, and provide haircuts as needed.
• Coach and develop team members to help them grow and succeed.
• Manage day-to-day salon operations, including scheduling, inventory, and customer service.
• Ensure the salon runs smoothly and meets customer expectations.
• Take initiative and solve problems in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Requirements

• A valid Cosmetology and/or Barber License (requirements vary by state/province).
• Strong technical haircutting skills and the ability to help others grow their skills and confidence.
• Proven leadership ability or readiness to take on full salon responsibility.
• Excellent communication skills and the desire to motivate, develop, and support a team.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage day-to-day salon operations.
• Comfort with technology and salon tools (scheduling systems, metrics, and reports).
• A goal-oriented mindset with a focus on team performance and customer experience.
• Adaptability and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Qualifications

To join a Great Clips salon team as a Salon Manager, you’ll need:
