Responsibilities
- Lead and manage day-to-day salon operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
- Coach, develop, and motivate a team of stylists to deliver great haircuts and customer service.
- Split time between salon management responsibilities and providing haircutting services to customers.
- Utilize innovative salon technology, such as Online Check-In and the Great Clips App, to streamline operations.
- Manage scheduling, metrics, and reports to drive team performance and customer satisfaction.
- Foster a team-oriented culture where stylists support each other and succeed together.
- Adapt to a fast-paced, high-volume environment with problem-solving skills.
Requirements
- A valid Cosmetology and/or Barber License (requirements vary by state/province).
- Must be a licensed Cosmetologist or barber, or be enrolled in school.
- Strong technical haircutting skills and the ability to help others grow their skills and confidence.
- Proven leadership ability or readiness to take on full salon responsibility.
- Excellent communication skills and the desire to motivate, develop, and support a team.
- Strong organizational skills to manage day-to-day salon operations.
- Comfort with technology and salon tools, including scheduling systems and performance metrics.
