Consultative Sales

  • Salon Business Development – Leverages OMNI channel support teams to prospect, procure and develop salon relationships.
  • Collaborates with small business owners to identify and develop a plan of long-term success.
  • Influences and increases market share through tailored salon business plans.
  • Conducts regular meetings and consultations with salon business owners to understand their goals, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Provides tailored solutions and support using OMNI channel approaches of in-salon, in-store, and e-commerce business channels.
  • Leverages internal business leaders to develop and execute sales strategies, education initiatives, and promotional activities.
  • Maintains and analyzes sales performance and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

Education & Training

  • Schedules, promotes, and fulfills education and promotional events such as area classes, industry shows and events, virtual workshops, and in-salon education.
  • Collaborates with salon leadership to develop and execute training and education planning meetings.
  • Leverages third-party partners and enhances clients' business acumen.
  • Stays updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
  • Facilitates training and education sessions and workshops for beauty partners, addressing the needs and interests of salon business owners.
  • Utilizes company resources and tools to leverage loyalty programs for salons and stylists.

Administration & Planning

  • Manages remote-order entry with company-provided tools and handles other administrative duties as needed.
  • Participates in regional and national sales meetings.
  • Uses digital platforms and social media to engage and influence the local salon and stylist community.
  • Maintains and monitors customer information and activity within sales reporting systems.
  • Monitors diversion by assessing and adjusting product orders based on salon size, client count, and service provider numbers.
  • Provides regular updates and reports on the progress and effectiveness of beauty partner programs, focusing on small business relationships.

Requirements

  • High school degree required, bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of one (1) year demonstrated outside sales experience or beauty industry experience with emphasis on consultative selling.
  • Demonstrated outside sales experience or equivalent industry experience.
  • Demonstrated consultative and customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated understanding and ability to harness the power of social media.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational, flexibility, goal-oriented, and results-driven abilities.
  • Possesses a valid state driver’s license, good driving record, and required auto insurance policy levels.
  • Lives within assigned sales territory.
  • Requires frequent and sometimes prolonged driving of a car, walking, and standing.
  • Uses professional judgment during all business activities.
  • Excellent computer skills - Windows-based (MS Office) systems and applications.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com a plus as well as social media understanding and usage.

Benefits

Starting pay range: $60,000 Annually
