About the role
The Salesforce Technical Lead plays a critical role in delivering high-quality Salesforce solutions by bridging architecture and hands-on development. This role is responsible for translating solution designs into scalable technical implementations, leading development teams, and ensuring best practices across all phases of delivery. The Technical Lead partners closely with Solution Architects, Technical Architects, Delivery Leads and the client to ensure that solutions are built efficiently, securely, and aligned with business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end technical execution of Salesforce projects across build, test, and deployment phases.
- Translate high-level architecture into detailed technical designs and development tasks.
- Oversee development activities and ensure alignment to solution architecture and business requirements.
- Serve as primary technical escalation point for complex issues.
- Define and implement data models, integrations, and automation patterns.
- Lead and contribute to development using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Flow.
- Review code and enforce standards, best practices, and CI/CD processes.
- Drive integration implementation across APIs, middleware, and external systems.
- Ensure quality through unit testing, integration testing, and release readiness.
- Mentor developers and provide ongoing technical leadership and coaching.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, and stakeholders to align delivery outcomes.
- Travel may be necessary.
Requirements
- 6+ years of Salesforce platform experience.
- Strong hands-on development experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Flows.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce data model and security architecture.
- Experience with integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware).
- Experience leading technical teams in Agile delivery environments.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Relevant Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I/II preferred).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Financial Services or Insurance industry implementations.
- Exposure to Data Cloud, AI, or Agentforce solutions.
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Copado or Gearset.
- Multi-cloud experience (Sales, Service, Experience, Financial Services Cloud).

Pay
In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the base compensation range for this role is $98,810.25 - $152,706.75 - $206,603.25. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on several factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. Compensation ranges for roles in our Government Services pillar are determined by contract with the specific government agency Sikich is servicing.
