Salesforce Technical Architect
About the role
As a Salesforce Technical Architect, you will lead the design, implementation, and governance of scalable Salesforce solutions while ensuring successful delivery across the application lifecycle. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, development teams, quality assurance teams, and program leadership to achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities
- Lead technical architecture design, solution governance, and oversight across Salesforce and integrated enterprise platforms.
- Provide Agile sprint guidance, technical leadership, and direction to development teams throughout the SDLC.
- Mentor team members, establish best practices, and maintain comprehensive technical and solution documentation.
Requirements
- 6+ years of Salesforce experience.
- 3+ years of experience designing and delivering Salesforce Experience Cloud portals.
- 3+ years of experience with API integration architecture and enterprise integration patterns.
- 2+ years of Azure or cloud platform experience.
- Strong expertise in Salesforce Experience Cloud, Cases, Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, Salesforce DX, APIs, and Single Sign-On (SSO).
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, middleware integrations, Amazon S3, Azure AD, and JSON/XML technologies.
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture patterns, scalability, security, and design principles.
- Experience with Agile delivery, SDLC management, and risk management practices.
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Salesforce Platform Architect, Application Architect, or System Architect certification.
- Experience working within partner ecosystem environments.
- Demonstrated success leading large-scale Salesforce transformation initiatives.
- Strong mentoring, stakeholder communication, and leadership capabilities.
Pay
The annual salary for this position is between $100,000 and $130,000, depending on experience and qualifications. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance.
