About the role

Steampunk is seeking a Steampunk Salesforce Technical Architect to join our dynamic team. This role involves crafting and executing innovative solutions using the Salesforce platform, blending declarative and programmatic development resources.

Responsibilities

  • Craft and execute innovative solutions using the Salesforce platform
  • Oversee the development of solutions, leading code reviews, developing project and platform standards, and providing constructive feedback to your team
  • Embrace and promote a culture of continuous learning and development by leading internal upcoming release briefings, contributing to internal technology solution reviews, and supporting the creation of a common component library
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy high quality Salesforce solutions utilizing SFDC best practices while balancing the unique needs of our clients
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within your teams
  • Support business customers closely with support and remediation for bugs/outages
  • Implement O&M plans for existing solutions, including development of new features and functionality based on the product backlog
  • Collaborate with fellow architects to creatively solve client problems across the business, and design solutions that can be repurposed across business units
  • Identify and develop reusable assets and accelerators based on reoccurring client themes
  • Communicate project status and blockers to client stakeholders, and engage fellow architects as needed to maintain project velocity
  • Maintain Salesforce credentials and stay current on the latest force.com technologies to communicate trends and future needs to clients as well as leadership
  • Build meaningful relationships with clients to enable the delivery of innovative and high-quality Salesforce solutions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of software engineering experience
  • 10+ years designing and developing enterprise Salesforce applications
  • 5+ years architecting and delivering custom Salesforce Experience Cloud (Community Cloud) solutions
  • 5+ years developing Lightning Web Components (LWC) in enterprise production environments
  • 5+ years designing and implementing Salesforce data migration and integration strategies
  • 3+ years leading multi-disciplinary delivery teams while serving as the primary technical architect
  • 3+ years establishing and maintaining Salesforce DevOps processes using Git-based source control and CI/CD
  • 5+ years of modern JavaScript development
  • Experience translating business requirements into enterprise Salesforce architecture
  • Experience with AWS cloud architecture
  • Experience with PostgreSQL
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
  • Preferred: Local to Washington, DC metro area, experience with MuleSoft, Heroku, Einstein Analytics, experience with GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins, SonarQube, Checkmarx, unique combination of being business-minded and highly analytical while also having a strong and deep technical background in Salesforce.com, knowledge and experience with Agile and DevSecOps methodologies, preferred certifications: Salesforce Certified System Architect, Salesforce Certified Application Architect, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I, Salesforce Certified App Builder

Benefits

The projected compensation range for this position is $175,000 to $220,000. Steampunk participates in the E-Verify program.
