About the role
The Commercial Engineering Organization within Thomson Reuters is seeking a Salesforce Engineer to join a well-established global engineering team. This role requires a strong passion for technology, collaboration, and expertise in Salesforce platforms.
Responsibilities
- Understand Salesforce platform components (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, etc.)
- Familiarity with Salesforce architecture and metadata
- Knowledge in Salesforce CPQ / Conga CPQ
- Experience with point-and-click tools (Flow, etc.) for automation
- Understanding of REST and SOAP APIs for integration
- Basic knowledge of version control systems (Git)
- Experience with Data Loader, Workbench, and third-party integration tools
- Technical design documentation creation and contribution to solution development
- Collaboration with Technical Leads and Architects
- Working with cross-functional and product teams
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with Conga CPQ
- 3-5 years of experience in Salesforce Sales Cloud, Apex customization, integration
- Strong experience with Salesforce, Sales Cloud, Apex customization, Integration
- Experience implementing with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning
- Design, development, and scaling of REST API
- Hands-on experience with security vulnerability scanning tools
- Working experience with Git
Qualifications
- Must have 2+ years of experience with Conga CPQ
- 3-5 years of experience in driving the technical implementation of solutions
- Strong experience with Salesforce, Sales Cloud, Apex customization, Integration
- Strong experience with CPQ domain
- Experience implementing with Apex, Visualforce and Lightning
- Design, development, and scaling of REST API
- Hands-on experience with security vulnerability scanning tools
- Working experience with Git
Skills
- Understanding of Salesforce platform and its various components
- Familiarity with Salesforce architecture (multi-tenant architecture, metadata, etc.)
- Knowledge in Salesforce CPQ / Conga CPQ
- Experience with point-and-click tools (Flow, etc.) for creating automation without code
- Understanding of REST and SOAP APIs for integrating Salesforce with other systems
- Familiarity with tools like Postman for testing API calls
- Understanding of Visualforce pages and their use in custom UI development
- Familiarity with Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura components
- Understanding of the Salesforce release cycle and change management processes (Sandboxes, change sets, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of version control systems (like Git) for code management
- Experience with tools like Data Loader, Workbench, and third-party integration tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Zapier)

Pay
The base compensation range for this role varies across locations. For eligible US locations, the base compensation range is $76,200 USD - $141,400 USD. For Ontario, Canada, the base compensation range is $82,100 CAD - $132,100 CAD.
Schedule
This role offers a hybrid work model with 2-3 days a week in the office depending on the role.
