Long-term contract position for a senior consultant who can translate business needs into scalable Salesforce platform capabilities while partnering with technical and non-technical teams.
Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and enhance Salesforce solutions that support core business functions across Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Field Service capabilities.
- Create and maintain custom platform functionality using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Aura Components, and structured trigger frameworks to support complex business processes.
- Develop, refine, and troubleshoot integrations between Salesforce and external applications through APIs, web services, and middleware technologies.
- Promote sound engineering practices by monitoring platform constraints, improving application performance, and upholding established development standards.
- Review technical deliverables, provide constructive feedback to peers, and help strengthen coding guidelines and team development processes.
- Coordinate deployment activities and support release execution through version control systems and modern DevOps toolsets.
- Work closely with stakeholders, solution architects, administrators, and delivery teams to define requirements and implement solutions within Agile ceremonies.
- Offer technical leadership by explaining design approaches, recommending platform options, and guiding decision-making for varied stakeholder groups.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience within enterprise-scale environments.
- Proven delivery experience across a minimum of 3 end-to-end Salesforce implementation projects.
- Strong technical command of Apex, triggers, asynchronous processing such as Queueable and Batch Apex, and web service development.
- Practical experience building user-facing solutions with Lightning Web Components and Aura Components.
- Knowledge of Salesforce platform architecture, including governor limits, execution behavior, and application design best practices.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with third-party systems using APIs, middleware platforms, and related integration tools.
- Proficiency with Git-based source control and release management platforms used for Salesforce deployment pipelines.
- Ability to work effectively in Agile or Scrum teams while communicating clearly with both technical and business audiences.
