About the role

Astor & Sanders Corporation (Astor) is an award-winning IT solutions provider headquartered in McLean, VA. We are seeking a Salesforce Developer/Architect to join our team in a full-time, hybrid onsite position in the DMV area.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop Salesforce solutions aligned with business requirements and best practices
  • Lead the development and implementation of Salesforce projects, including configuring and customizing the platform
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze functional and technical requirements
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
  • Perform code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to best practices
  • Identify and resolve technical issues and bugs
  • Stay up-to-date with Salesforce updates and new features, and provide recommendations on leveraging new functionality
  • Participate in system and integration testing, as well as user acceptance testing
  • Create and maintain technical documentation
  • Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer/Architect
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
  • Active Salesforce certification
  • Extensive experience customizing and configuring Salesforce using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and declarative tools such as Process Builder and Workflow Rules
  • Strong understanding of the Salesforce data model, security model, and governor limits
  • Experience with integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and ETL tools
  • Experience with Salesforce CPQ and/or Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a plus

Pay

The anticipated salary range for this position is $150,000–$190,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, candidate skills and education, geographical location, certifications, and business needs.
