About the role
The Salesforce Data 360 Specialist designs, builds, and activates scalable, data-driven audience segments using Salesforce Data 360 (Data Cloud).
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain audience segments within Salesforce Data 360 for marketing, personalization, and activation use cases.
- Configure and manage unified customer profiles, identity resolution rules, and Data Model Objects (DMOs).
- Develop and maintain Data Model Objects (DMOs), Calculated Insights, engagement metrics, and derived attributes to support advanced segmentation strategies.
- Activate Data 360 audiences into Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, Loyalty Cloud, and external destinations.
- Validate segment readiness and ensure accurate, reliable downstream campaign and journey execution.
- Partner with Marketing, Analytics, and Data Engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable segmentation solutions.
- Monitor and improve data quality, segmentation accuracy, and identity resolution outcomes.
- Leverage cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, AWS, Azure, or GCP, including zero-copy data sharing where applicable.
- Ensure privacy, consent, and data governance standards are upheld across all segmentation and activation workflows.
- Support testing, measurement, and optimization of segment performance and customer engagement outcomes.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience with Salesforce Data 360 and/or Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Hands-on experience with data ingestion, transformation, audience segmentation, identity resolution, and customer data modeling.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce Data Cloud concepts: Unified Profiles, DMOs, and activation workflows.
- Experience building Calculated Insights, aggregations, and behavioral metrics.
- Solid understanding of customer data platforms (CDPs), master data management concepts, and omnichannel marketing principles.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to data validation, quality, and reliability.
- Experience with Salesforce SQL.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience implementing end-to-end Data Cloud solutions (ingestion, resolution, activation).
- Knowledge of integrating Salesforce Data Cloud with Databricks or other enterprise data platforms.
- Exposure to Loyalty, Personalization, or real-time marketing use cases.
- Familiarity with consent management, privacy frameworks, and customer identity best practices.
