Responsibilities
- Partner with business and operational teams to shape account data standards, required record attributes, and structured criteria for new account setup.
- Analyze large Salesforce datasets to uncover duplicate records, incomplete account details, hierarchy conflicts, and other data issues affecting account quality.
- Investigate recurring data problems, determine underlying causes, and document recommendations that strengthen ongoing data stewardship practices.
- Verify company names, addresses, ownership assignments, industry designations, and parent-child relationships using internal references and external research sources.
- Support duplicate management efforts by refining detection logic, evaluating merge candidates, and applying record consolidation guidelines to preserve the most reliable account data.
- Carry out account remediation activities such as standardizing naming conventions, correcting ownership and hierarchy details, and resolving incomplete or inaccurate account information.
- Maintain process documentation, governance procedures, and business rules related to account validation, duplicate review, and stewardship workflows.
- Create or support business process documentation, standard operating procedures, or business requirement materials.
- Build dashboards, scorecards, and trend reporting to track data quality performance, remediation backlogs, and validation progress, then present insights to stakeholders.
- Assist with exception handling and downstream impact reviews when account merges or record corrections require careful coordination across related processes.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience working with Salesforce data, including account review, record validation, and data quality analysis.
- Ability to assess large datasets, identify patterns and discrepancies, and translate findings into clear corrective actions.
- Familiarity with data governance concepts such as ownership controls, hierarchy management, duplicate prevention, and record standardization.
- Experience creating or supporting business process documentation, standard operating procedures, or business requirement materials.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to research and resolve account-level inconsistencies independently.
- Comfortable working across technical and business teams to support configuration, reporting, and data improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of Salesforce environments, Salesforce development concepts, API-related processes, or configuration management is beneficial.
- Clear communication skills for summarizing data findings, explaining recommendations, and supporting stakeholder decision-making.
