Salesforce CRM Administrator

Position Summary

The Salesforce CRM Administrator will oversee the implementation and maintenance of Salesforce CRM to support fundraising, outreach, and engagement goals. This role will collaborate with various departments to enhance CRM functionality and ensure data integrity.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage CRM health by ensuring data entry aligns with data governance policies and processes.
• Provide active monitoring of CRM health and identify areas for improvement in data integrity and completeness.
• Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to design and implement custom reports, dashboards, and workflows.
• Drive ongoing optimization of CRM by reducing manual effort and driving insights.
• Maintain data security, data architecture, and privacy regulations.
• Conduct and participate in training sessions for end-users.
• Monitor data flows and internal protocols to ensure proper handling of constituent and donor data.
• Work with IT staff and partners to integrate CRM applications with other business applications.
• Review and ensure compliance with requirements, specifications, test, support, and training plans.
• Assist IT staff in maintaining business functions during disasters.
• Stay updated on Salesforce trends and features to optimize the platform for fundraising strategies.

Required Experience & Education

• At least 3 years of experience working with Salesforce in a nonprofit environment, including setup and configuration.
• A strong understanding of constituent tracking, gift processing, and fundraising-related functions.
• A strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight timelines.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with non-profit operations and regular reporting requirements.
• Salesforce Administrator certification required; additional Salesforce certifications preferred.
