Salesclerk Animal Health (PT)

Essential Functions

• Aid customers in finding products and provide relevant information.
• Verify proper product rotation and basic stocking of merchandise.
• Utilize the handheld Telxon device for precise inventory management.
• Maintain department merchandising and store advertisements according to protocols.
• Ensure a secure and clean work environment, adhering to loss prevention and safety procedures.
• Assist customers with special order requests and sales transactions.
• Communicate effectively with customers, management, and other store personnel.
• Follow all applicable Company, local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Keep workspaces clean and adequately stocked with necessary materials.
• Operate cash registers and assist with customer carry-outs as needed.
• Operate pallet jacks and/or tow motors as required.
• Perform weightlifting up to and including 50 lbs.
• Maintain consistent attendance for regularly scheduled work shifts.

Additional Responsibilities

• Complete special projects as directed by management.
• Assume additional responsibilities as required by the business.

Minimum Requirements

• Age 16 or older.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• An optimistic attitude and strong enthusiasm for teamwork.
