Responsibilities
- Sales Process Management
- Ensure salespeople are engaging directly with the customer and engage directly with customers yourself.
- Walk the lot daily with the sales team to ensure knowledge of vehicle pricing and excellent condition of inventory, advertising, banners, and area grounds.
- Develop effective sales staff by communicating expected performance standards, monitoring performance, identifying development needs, coaching, and mentoring.
- Customer Engagement
- Ensure all customers are greeted promptly in a professional and friendly manner.
- Address and resolve customer concerns promptly.
- Assist Sales Representatives with customers when needed to ensure the sale of a vehicle.
- Remain aware of all customers on the lot and ensure their buying experience is progressing as expected.
- Track ad sourcing by communicating with customers to identify what brought them to the store.
- Help customers choose protection packages for their vehicle by presenting all products and their benefits.
- Ensure financing for customers by building professional relationships with lenders and working with them to get the best financing available.
- Submit deals to the bank electronically using the appropriate dealer system.
- Enter transactions accurately into ADP and bank approval systems.
- Process all transaction paperwork and ensure it is accurate and meets the needs of the Office, state-specific DMV, and lender requirements.
- Track deal receivables and follow up on outstanding items to ensure collection of all money and bank stipulations for contract funding.
- Follow up with customers as a courtesy reminder for purchased products requiring customer action (e.g., protective coating applied).
- Administrative & Compliance
- Obtain all appropriate licensing within 90 days from the date of hire.
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- 18 years or older.
- Ability to type efficiently.
- Ability to use mathematics.
Schedule
This position requires open availability to support dealership operations and customer demand. Successful candidates will be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as these are peak sales periods and key opportunities for maximizing earnings.
