Sales & Training Executive (Dr. Dennis Gross/ Drunk Elephant)- San Francisco
About the role
The Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare / Drunk Elephant Sales and Training Executive reports to the Regional Sales Director. This role is responsible for meeting and exceeding sales objectives, building brand awareness, and managing freelance teams.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales and execute retailer programs, launches, and event strategies.
- Maintain a cohesive monthly schedule aligned with territory volume and call cycle.
- Plan, schedule, and execute events in essential opportunity doors to drive retail sales and brand awareness.
- Build strong relationships with retail partners, including store management, regional/district managers, event managers, and education managers.
- Recruit, hire, inspire, schedule, develop, and retain productive freelance team members.
- Monitor and assess weekly sales performance and productivity for freelance teams.
- Strategically manage freelance budgets, schedules, and productivity to drive incremental sales.
- Ensure stores are properly merchandised for maximum visual exposure according to MAPPP™ guidelines.
- Raise brand rank and seek out competitive information to gain market share.
- Provide feedback to education/events teams on the effectiveness of strategies, training, selling tools, and products.
- Monitor and communicate stock concerns to retail partners and internal key planning partners.
- Act as the brand ambassador, promoting Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare and Drunk Elephant in a positive light.
Requirements
- 3-5 years equivalent experience in the Cosmetic/Aesthetic/Beauty industry.
- Passion for the Beauty Industry, Sales, and Clients.
- Proven ability to drive sales, meet/exceed goals, and provide excellent customer service.
- Ability to assess, analyze, and identify business trends.
- Experience in successful budget management.
- Demonstrated ability to inspire, coach, and develop a team.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and knowledge to build positive business partnerships.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Excellent verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills, including solid presentation abilities.
- Proficient in all Microsoft™ Office programs and other analytical tools.
- Valid Driver's License required.
Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Comfortable with different methods of travel.
- Able to lift up to 30 pounds and work in a fragranced environment on your feet for several hours a day.

Pay
The base pay for this position may vary based on geographic location. Actual base pay offered will be based on several factors including job-specific knowledge, education, skills, and depth of experience. In addition to base pay, we may offer additional forms of compensation as components of a total compensation package, including participation in our bonus program which features the ability to overachieve, in addition to a full range of competitive benefits.
Schedule
Typical work schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, including weekends and holidays, to meet team objectives.
