Sales Trainer

Location: Petaluma, CA | Full-time, M-F 8am-5pm | Temporary-to-hire opportunity

About the role

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Sales Trainer to deliver engaging training programs that help sales employees develop their skills and succeed. This position will train new hires and current team members, monitor performance, evaluate training effectiveness, and support ongoing professional development. The ideal candidate is an experienced sales coach with strong presentation, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct training sessions for new and current sales employees using established training materials.
• Support the onboarding and development of new sales team members.
• Monitor trainee performance and measure learning outcomes.
• Provide coaching and feedback to help employees improve their sales skills.
• Identify opportunities to enhance training programs, materials, and delivery methods.
• Maintain and update training records and course materials.
• Stay current on sales practices, market trends, and corporate sales training methods.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Two to four years of experience as a Sales Trainer, Corporate Sales Trainer, Sales Training Specialist, or in a similar position.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, business administration, or a related field, or comparable sales leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of the sales process and sales best practices.
• Excellent coaching, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to motivate employees and evaluate their performance.
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• Experience using e-learning platforms.

Pay

$31.25 to $33.65 per hour
