Sales Trainee

About the role

This is a training role that prepares the Sales Trainee for the Account Sales Manager role. The role supports sales initiatives and provides route coverage for the ASM during vacation, sickness, injury or special projects. The ST works with management to maintain customer relationships between sales, merchandising and operations for all large & small format “off premise” stores, servicing customers safely, productively and professionally in compliance with Red Bull executional standards.

Responsibilities

• Training: participate in training program; upon completion eligible to interview for open ASM roles; may remain in ST role up to 12 months (or until ASM/another qualified role available) if meeting performance standards; possible 6‑month extension based on high performance and no open roles; role is at‑will employment.
• Business Acumen: learn basics of Red Bull and Red Bull Distribution Company, brand and products; protect brand through proper rotation; set brand flow per standards; build friendly professional customer relationships to increase sales.
• Daily Preparation: obtain tools (insights, displays, POS, pricing, etc.) to execute daily plan; communicate with ASMs/DSMs on daily priorities.
• In‑Route Support: follow Global Strategy for In‑Store Execution measured by Winning vs Competition (WVC) & Perfect Store Audit (PSA); cover ASM routes as needed; meet daily KPI focused on sales, distribution, pricing, display, new accounts, merchandising.
• Off‑Route Support: support team with audits, blitz, building displays, merchandising to drive sales; perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Valid US Driver’s License and obtainment of DOT Medical card
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Experience in customer service and sales is a plus
• Ability to lift and transport up to 25 pounds of inventory and/or advertising displays
• English; additional languages an advantage
