Sales Trainee

About the role

Purvis Industries is seeking qualified Account Manager Trainee candidates for our Sales & Service Management Trainee Program (SSMTP). The six-month program begins in late May at our Ft. Worth, TX training center.

Trainees receive hands-on training in product disciplines such as bearings, motors, power transmission, conveyor belting, hydraulics, pneumatics, and variable frequency drives. The program also covers effective sales approaches, time and territory management, cold calling skills, professional presentations, sales plan development, and communicating the Purvis value proposition.

Requirements

• Minimum of an associate degree in a mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic field of study, or
• At least 5 years of experience working in a Maintenance department
