Sales, Territory Manager - Sleep & Respiratory Care (Michigan)
Be an integral part of the dynamic Philips Sleep & Respiratory Care (SRC) team as an experienced Territory Manager. This position offers the opportunity to play a vital role in increasing market penetration and driving the growth of Philips SRC Patient Interface products and services within the Michigan Territory.
About the role
You will represent and sell Philips SRC Patient Interface portfolio of products and services in the territory, differentiating vs. competitor products through consultative selling and executing defined sales messaging. Serve as the territory expert for the Philips SRC Patient Interface product and service portfolio, including Care Orchestrator. You will meet or exceed assigned sales quotas for Patient Interface products in the assigned territory.
- Execute defined Philips Sleep and Respiratory Care Sales and Marketing Patient Interface initiatives, documenting sales calls through salesforce.com.
- Develop professional relationships with key opinion leader prescribing physicians, office staff, Sleep Center, and DME stakeholder influencers and decision-makers, selling Philips SRC Patient Interface products and services, including Philips SRC Mask Selector 2D and Care Orchestrator.
- Ask for Patient Interface prescriptions and DME orders.
- Execute long-term customer purchasing agreements to achieve annual Patient Interface product growth targets and sales quotas.
- Identify and execute regular sales calls, demonstrating effective time and territory management across top customer targets, prioritizing key opinion leader sleep therapy and patient interface physicians, sleep labs, office staff (50%), and defined corporate account locations or independent DME customers (50%).
- Minimum 4 of 5 business days each week executing sales calls in the assigned territory.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with a Bachelor's in areas such as Customer Relationship Management, Sales, Business Development, or Account Management in a B2C environment or equivalent.
- Documented quota-carrying successful sales experience, preferably in the medical device or home care environment (e.g., selling to durable medical equipment companies, home care dealers, physician offices, sleep labs, and hospital discharge planners).
- Consultative selling skills.
- Experience selling Sleep therapy Patient Interface products and services strongly preferred.
- Must be able to use auto vehicles to travel to and from customer locations.
- Must occasionally lift and transport medical devices that may weigh up to 100 pounds and frequently lift devices up to 25 pounds.
- Travel within assigned territory: 60-70%.
- Must reside in the territory—Michigan (Detroit area preferred).
- US work authorization is required; the company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa.

How We Work Together
This is a field role, most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at customers’ or suppliers’ locations. For this role, you will work in-person at customer sites within the Michigan Territory.

Pay
Total Target Earnings is composed of base salary + target incentive. At 85% to 120% performance achievement, the target earning potential is $143,000 to $164,000 annually, plus a company fleet/car. Total compensation may be higher or lower dependent upon individual performance.
