Sales Technician - Residential Electrician

Roles & Responsibilities

• Customer-Centric Service: Respond to dispatch calls, troubleshoot residential electrical issues on-site, and deliver safe, top-quality craftsmanship.
• Consultative Selling: Evaluate the customer's entire electrical system to identify safety risks or upgrade opportunities (e.g., panel upgrades, surge protection, generator hookups, smart home lighting) and present tailored solution packages.
• Transparent Pricing: Formulate and present clear, upfront options/estimates to homeowners, guiding them through their decision-making process without high-pressure tactics.
• The Mister Sparky Experience: Uphold our strict brand standards, including punctuality, maintaining a clean workspace, and wearing the uniform with pride.
• Digital Documentation: Accurately document jobs, build multi-option estimates, and process payments utilizing our field management software (ServiceTitan).

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience Required: Proven experience in residential electrical troubleshooting, repair, and installations, combined with a strong background in in-home sales or a similar commission-based service role.
• Sales & Communication Skills: Ability to easily build rapport with homeowners, translate complex technical jargon into simple benefits, and confidently close options.
• Solution-Oriented Mindset: Driven to go beyond the basic "quick fix" to educate customers on long-term safety and system longevity (up-selling/cross-selling).
• Valid Driver’s License: Clean driving record and the ability to safely operate a company service van.
• Professional Integrity: Clean-cut appearance, positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.

Pay

Compensation: $75,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
