Position Overview
The Sales Team Leader (Lead NHA) is a senior sales professional responsible for delivering exceptional homebuying experiences while serving as a mentor, resource, and role model for New Home Advisors within the community or region. While the Lead NHA carries an active personal sales role, they are also entrusted with supporting the development, onboarding, and day-to-day success of other NHAs, reinforcing best practices, and promoting consistency in the customer experience. This role acts as a first-line peer leader and trusted advisor within the sales team.
Responsibilities
- Learn and master the Keystone Custom Homes sales process and CRM system
- Be responsible for a designated KCH Neighborhood and achieving the sales goals set within while maintaining a leadership role within the team
- Lead and coach NHAs through weekly lead conversion meetings, performance reviews, Gong evaluations, and ongoing accountability to drive sales results
- Support the onboarding and day-to-day development of NHAs, reinforcing product knowledge, systems usage, and customer experience standards
- Facilitate sales training and bi-weekly team meetings focused on the Keystone sales process, customer experience, and professional development
- Lead by example through professional conduct, ethical sales practices, and consistent personal sales performance
- Work with Buyers on any complex sales-related issues
- Oversee all Neighborhood sales operations, including homesite releases, premium pricing, site plan management, and preparation for new community launches and presale events
- Conduct regular model home visits to ensure compliance with company standards and operational expectations
- Partner with lenders, construction, design, conveyance, land, and operations teams to ensure customers progress efficiently through financing, selections, construction, and closing
- Monitor local market conditions through competitor analysis, CMAs, and land opportunity evaluations to support strategic growth
- Support and expand On Your Lot (OYL) sales initiatives and lot improvement processes within the division
Qualifications
- Proven success in new home sales, real estate sales, or a related sales leadership role
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills, including the ability to influence and support peers without direct authority
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service abilities
- Able to analyze sales metrics and implement performance improvement strategies
- Experience managing customer concerns and resolving complex issues
- Proficiency with CRM systems, sales reporting tools, and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and community events as required
