About the role

This is an itinerant position located out of store number #2317 in Ridley Park, requiring travel to other stores in the designated district. As a Sales Team Lead, you will serve as a lead worker for a shift, guiding a team of clerks and collaborating with the FW&GS management team.

Responsibilities

• Lead a shift effectively, provide on-the-job training, and ensure smooth store operations.
• Follow opening and closing routines and help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.
• Positively engage with shoppers, help them locate products, and resolve concerns promptly.
• Complete sales on a computerized cash register, verify product information, and follow counter procedures.
• Unload shipments, stock shelves, build displays, and ensure safe use of store equipment.
• Complete shift reports including accounting, cash, and inventory management.

Requirements

• Six months of experience as a Liquor Store Clerk 1 or Intermittent Liquor Store Clerk (Commonwealth job titles or equivalent Federal Government job titles, as determined by the Office of Administration); or six months of retail sales work.
• Must meet Pennsylvania residency requirements.
• Must be able to perform essential job functions.
• Must pass a background investigation. Applicants with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment are not permitted to work for the PLCB. Other criminal convictions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Schedule

• Full-time employment, totaling 75 hours biweekly.
• Work hours will vary.
• No telework option available.

Pay

The starting salary for this position for new Commonwealth employees is fixed at the minimum salary listed and is not negotiable.
