Sales Team Lead (Full-time) (Liquor Store Clerk 2) - North U.S. Route 15, Dillsburg

About the role

This role supports daily store operations and helps guide clerks in many customer service activities. It combines leadership with hands-on tasks across customer service, merchandising, cash handling, and general store procedures.

Responsibilities

• Customer Support: Assist customers by greeting them, helping them find products, resolving concerns, and supporting special orders
• Inventory Checks: Take daily inventory counts, identify inconsistencies, and update systems to maintain accurate stock records
• Store Procedures: Open and close the store, prepare staff for business hours, and secure money and equipment each day
• Cash Handling: Manage cash drawers, prepare bank deposits, provide change, and oversee register accuracy
• Merchandising Tasks: Lead stocking activities, organize displays, rotate inventory, and ensure safe handling of store equipment
• Licensee Orders: Process orders for licensees, coordinate staff to pull merchandise, and ensure accurate and timely pick-up

Qualifications

• Six months as a Liquor Store Clerk 1 or Intermittent Liquor Store Clerk (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or six months of retail sales work.
• Must meet the PA residency requirement.
• Must be able to perform essential job functions.
• Must pass a background investigation. An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code. Other criminal convictions will be reviewed on a case‑by‑case basis.

Schedule

Work hours will vary, totaling 75 hours biweekly. Telework is not an option for this position.
