Sales Tax Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Help achieve company’s Tax related goals to maintain efficiency in Sales Tax Audits.
• Verify all tax exemptions received based on each state’s rules and regulations.
• Recognize and display the principles of the Company’s Mission, Vision and Values.
• Research and validate all incoming tax exemption certificates.
• Code customer accounts exempt upon validation of certificates presented.
• Process tax credits warranted to customer account or back to credit card.
• Aid customers by researching and validating tax rates as requested.
• Assist customers and sales reps as needed in respect to each state’s tax rules.
• Support Manager with sales tax projects and audits.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• At least 1-year experience in an Accounts Receivable environment.
• Excellent PC skills required in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Google Chrome/Internet Explorer.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, work in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, handle multiple tasks and work under time constraints is required.
