About The Role

Location: Remote – Michigan residents

As a Sales Tax and Fund Recovery Financial Coordinator at Morley, you'll help manage the sales tax fund recovery financials for our Fortune 500 and luxury automotive clients. No automotive experience needed! Bring your skills and willingness to learn. We'll train you on everything you need to know. What You'll Do

  • Review and audit cases for sales tax retrieval
  • Apply for sales tax for various clients
  • Communicate with outside organizations to apply for and retrieve necessary documents for sales tax retrieval
  • Maintain records regarding sales tax retrieval
  • Allocate sales tax refunds received
  • Communicate with outside organizations to apply for and retrieve necessary documents for warranty refunds
  • Maintain records regarding warranty fund retrieval
  • Allocate warranty refunds received
  • Auxiliary in fund recovery for various special projects
  • Offer timely and accurate solutions through inbound and outbound conversations (including phone calls, chats, emails and other communications as needed) while keeping a positive and upbeat attitude

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must have the ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One or more years of customer care experience (previous call center work, retail, restaurant, fast food, hotel or any role where you interacted with customers)
  • Able to work the following hours: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Eastern / 7 a.m. - 4 p.m. Central / 6 a.m. - 3 p.m. Mountain / 5 a.m. - 2 p.m. Pacific time Monday to Friday No nights or weekends!
  • Must be able to stick to the schedule reliably

Remote Work Requirements

  • Michigan resident
  • Secluded and distraction-free work environment
  • Required internet setup: High-speed internet delivered through a wired provider (cable or fiber)
  • Computer must be physically connected to your modem / router using an Ethernet cable
  • Wireless, 5G and satellite connections are not supported
