Sales Tax and Fund Recovery Financial Coordinator (Remote)
About The Role
Location: Remote – Michigan residents

What You'll Do
- Review and audit cases for sales tax retrieval
- Apply for sales tax for various clients
- Communicate with outside organizations to apply for and retrieve necessary documents for sales tax retrieval
- Maintain records regarding sales tax retrieval
- Allocate sales tax refunds received
- Communicate with outside organizations to apply for and retrieve necessary documents for warranty refunds
- Maintain records regarding warranty fund retrieval
- Assist in fund recovery for various special projects
- Offer timely and accurate solutions through inbound and outbound conversations (including phone calls, chats, emails and other communications as needed)
- Keep a positive and upbeat attitude

Eligibility Requirements
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One or more years of customer care experience (previous call center work, retail, restaurant, fast food, hotel or any role where you interacted with customers)
- Able to work the following hours: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Eastern / 7 a.m. - 4 p.m. Central / 6 a.m. - 3 p.m. Mountain / 5 a.m. - 2 p.m. Pacific time Monday to Friday
- No nights or weekends
- Must be able to stick to the schedule reliably
Remote Work Requirements
- Michigan resident
- Secluded and distraction-free work environment
- Required internet setup: High-speed internet delivered through a wired provider (cable or fiber)
- Computer must be physically connected to your modem / router using an Ethernet cable
- Wireless, 5G and satellite connections are not supported
