About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Support Specialist to provide administrative, sales, and broker support to a fast-paced Sales team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys managing multiple priorities, working with internal teams and external partners, and providing exceptional day-to-day support to sales professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fulfill broker service requests and provide timely follow-up
  • Maintain Sales Representatives' daily calendars, planners, and task lists
  • Schedule and confirm appointments for Sales Representatives
  • Maintain regular communication with Sales Representatives throughout the workday
  • Contact prospective brokers and agents to introduce products and services
  • Coordinate quotes and assist with online quote preparation and execution
  • Route broker calls and inquiries to the appropriate department when necessary
  • Customize applications, brochures, and other materials for specific agencies
  • Prepare producer kits and sales materials for brokers and Sales Representatives
  • Maintain accurate broker and producer information within Salesforce
  • Track producer licenses, web registrations, and producer agreements
  • Investigate and resolve database discrepancies in coordination with internal teams
  • Generate periodic reports for Sales leadership and Sales Representatives
  • Prepare quote log reports
  • Prepare miscellaneous correspondence and sales-related communications
  • Coordinate data-processing requests
  • Review customer and prospect websites to identify potential opportunities
  • Provide website instructions and support to brokers
  • Communicate with brokers regarding rate and benefit changes
  • Contact producers regarding opportunities to upgrade cases to enhanced benefit levels
  • Meet objectives and performance goals established by management
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent experience
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel and Word skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Salesforce or another CRM platform
  • Experience in life insurance, employee benefits, financial services, or a related industry
  • Previous experience supporting a sales team, brokers, agents, or business partners
