Sales Support Representative - Fire & Fabrication
About the role
Ferguson is seeking Sales Support Representatives to support the Fire & Fabrication customer group. This role involves working with Sales associates to support customer needs, providing personalized customer service, coordinating deliveries, answering sales calls, and using CRM and phone systems.
Responsibilities
- Determine the best products and solutions for customer needs
- Support customer needs through timely quotations and accurate sales orders
- Coordinate deliveries on behalf of customers
- Answer sales calls for general information and address customer concerns or questions
- Use customer relationship management (CRM) system and phone system effectively
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of sales and/or customer service experience preferred
- Experience in fire protection, plumbing, or other trades a plus
- Show strong sales skills, including the ability to upsell
- Proven track record of responding quickly to customer needs and making decisions in a timely manner
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and react well in a fast-paced environment
- Highly motivated and customer service oriented with ability to build relationships
- General digital literacy including Microsoft Office
- Ability to quickly learn product knowledge and processes

Pay and Schedule
The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements. This role is bonus or incentive plan eligible. Ferguson complies with all wage regulations.
