SALES SUPPORT - HYDRAULICS KGS/LFS
Job Description
LFS/KFS is looking for an experienced Hydraulic technician to sale, install and service hydraulic systems, steering systems and equipment.
- Work with customers to assess equipment needs and to determine system requirements.
- Provides technical and non-technical support and services to clients regarding the use, operation, and maintenance of hydraulic equipment.
- Customizes, installs and assembles hydraulic units, parts and motors to meet customer specifications and system requirements.
- Inspects hydraulic lines and components to detect leaks, damage, and wear.
- Disassembles hydraulic system and removes and replaces defective actuator, pump bearings, pump motor or accumulator.
- Replaces worn or damaged hydraulic components such as oil lines, fittings, cylinders, servo-valves, pressure release valves, gaskets, and seals.
- Observes operation of hydraulic system to verify proper installation and/or repair.

Required Qualifications (education, years of experience, KSAs)
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience
- Combination of education and experience
- Familiarity with Parker products
Physical demands
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
- The employee is frequently required to climb or balance.
- The employee is occasionally required to sit; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
- The employee moves objects regularly up to 10 pounds; frequently up to 25 pounds; occasionally up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.
Benefits
This is a full-time, 40 hour per week, year-round benefited position.
- Housing and transportation/relocation are not included with this position.
