SALES SUPPORT - HYDRAULICS LFS

Summary

LFS is looking for an entry level Hydraulic technician to assist with installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of hydraulic systems and equipment.

Essential Functions (Responsibilities, Tasks, Supervisory Needs)

- Work closely with senior technicians. - Work with customers to assess equipment needs and to determine system requirements. - Understand hydraulic system basics. (fittings, pumps, valves, cylinders) - Inspects hydraulic lines and components to detect leaks, damage, and wear. - Replace hydraulic hose fittings and make new hoses with fittings based on customer needs. - Use of both technical and trouble shooting skills to determine solution to customer needs. - Follow safety procedures to ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely. - Travel to LFS divisions in Alaska to support hydraulic efforts in those divisions.

Job Requirements

- Required Qualifications (education, years of experience, KSAs) - HS Diploma or equivalent - Preferred education and experience - Technical School certificate - Minimum of 1-2 years of experience - Combination of education and experience - Familiarity with Parker products

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to sit; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee moves objects. - regularly up to 10 pounds - frequently up to 25 pounds - occasionally up to 50 pounds.
