Summary
LFS is looking for an entry level Hydraulic technician to assist with installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of hydraulic systems and equipment.
Essential Functions (Responsibilities, Tasks, Supervisory Needs)
- Work closely with senior technicians.
- Work with customers to assess equipment needs and to determine system requirements.
- Understand hydraulic system basics. (fittings, pumps, valves, cylinders)
- Inspects hydraulic lines and components to detect leaks, damage, and wear.
- Replace hydraulic hose fittings and make new hoses with fittings based on customer needs.
- Use of both technical and trouble shooting skills to determine solution to customer needs.
- Follow safety procedures to ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely.
- Travel to LFS divisions in Alaska to support hydraulic efforts in those divisions.

Job Requirements
- Required Qualifications (education, years of experience, KSAs)
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Preferred education and experience
- Technical School certificate
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience
- Combination of education and experience
- Familiarity with Parker products
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to sit; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
