Represent Philips’ VeriSight Pro 3D ICE (Intracardiac Echo Catheter) to Interventional Cardiologists and Electrophysiologists. This role is part of an entirely new sales and clinical team commercializing the groundbreaking VeriSight Pro 3D ICE catheter, which redefines structural heart and EP procedures with best-in-class 2D and 3D imaging.

About the role

The VeriSight Intracardiac Devices Clinical Specialist is accountable for building, maintaining, and providing outstanding technical and clinical product support, systems support, and sustained education to healthcare providers (HCP) and allied health professionals (AHP) around the VeriSight platform.

You will directly partner with VeriSight Regional & Territory Managers and collaborate across Philips business segments—including Ultrasound, Image Guided Therapy Systems & Devices, Training & Education, Field Service Engineers, and Field Management—to ensure alignment and coordination of activities that meet defined VeriSight business objectives.

This expanding and entrepreneurial business requires a hands-on approach, high levels of autonomy, individual initiative, and motivation to achieve shared goals. You will demonstrate clinical aptitude, a solutions-oriented selling mindset, and outstanding internal and external communication skills while exemplifying Philips’ shared values.

Responsibilities

  • Become an expert on 3D ICE use in multiple clinical procedure types and use consultative education techniques to identify customer needs, support, and opportunities within assigned geographies in partnership with your Regional & Territory Manager.
  • Support the evaluation of new products and provide clinical feedback to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide ongoing support for company-sponsored clinical/marketing trials, registries, and educational events.
  • Improve clinical acumen, competitive product knowledge, customer relationship, sales, and education skills to maximize customer case support capability through proper planning and scheduling.
  • Maximize hospital stakeholder engagement pre-, intra-, and post-case support to drive optimal VeriSight educational awareness and support, including new program launches, physician and staff training.

Requirements

  • Registered or Certified Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) in adult or pediatric echocardiography with relevant work experience in the IC/EP clinical environment.
  • 2+ years of experience in a clinical echocardiography lab, with experience using Ultrasound consoles (e.g., Philips EPIQ) and advanced clinical ultrasound and echocardiography knowledge.
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree, or 4+ years of relevant professional work/military experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of the medical device industry and associated product portfolios, preferably within structural heart and/or electrophysiology therapies.
  • Strong clinical and technical knowledge to engage key stakeholders such as physicians, clinical staff, nurses, department managers, and supply chain.
  • Professional presence that influences desired results with both external and internal stakeholders and the ability to determine customer needs and communicate them to Field Sales and Marketing Teams.
  • Effective and timely communicator, self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, problem-solver who can think critically in high-pressure environments, and a dedicated learner.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% overnight locally, regionally, and nationally, sometimes on short notice.
  • Must live in or within commuting distance to Tampa, FL.

Pay

Total Target Earnings is composed of base salary + target incentive. At 85% to 120% performance achievement, the target earning potential is $154,000 to $190,000 annually, plus a company fleet/car. Total compensation may be higher or lower dependent upon individual performance.

Schedule

This is a field role, most effectively performed outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at customers’ or suppliers’ locations. For office-based teams, Philips requires working in-person at least 3 days per week, but this role is primarily field-based.

US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa, now or in the future. Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position.
