Sales Support Administrator

Mission of the Role Provides administrative support to the Sales department. Responsibilities include interactions with the CEO, VP of Sales & Marketing, sales technologies, and sales employees to best support the sales function at Hartfiel Automation. Education/Experience The Sales Support Administrator must be detail-oriented, creative, and personable. They must be able to articulate clearly and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Organizational skills, time management ability, and effective customer service are required. A four-year degree in marketing, communications, or a related discipline is preferred, but not required. Key Accountabilities Provide administrative support to the CEO, VP of Sales & Marketing, Leadership, Sales, and Support Teams while coordinating a wide range of communications. Champion of the CRM system. This will include managing data, running reports, and training individuals in the capabilities of the system. Interactions with IT Department will be needed. This role will be responsible for collecting and organizing data for executive reports. An example of this might be capturing and organizing data on product specific sales or gross margin reports. Coordinate and manage domestic/international travel for CEO, Leadership, employees, employment candidates, vendors, and customers, including lodging and transportation. Prepare monthly expense reports for Senior Leadership Team. Manage administrative projects exercising confidentiality, discretion, and independent judgment. Prepare sales reports and funnel reports using databases and trains new sales employees on these technologies. Collaborate with Technology Managers, Credit, Purchasing, Quality, and Engineers when appropriate to move sales initiatives forward. Responsible for balancing multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment. Compose and prepare confidential correspondence, reports, and other complex documents. Operate within the framework of Hartfiel Automation’s mission, values, and vision statements.
