SALES SUPERVISOR (KEYHOLDER) ABOUT THE ROLE The Sales Supervisor (Keyholder) is an hourly, commission-eligible sales-floor leader who delivers exceptional client experiences while helping the store achieve its sales goalsYou will spend the majority of your time working directly with clients—styling, selling, building relationships, and creating the high-touch experience Veronica Beard is known for. As a leader on the floor, you will set the pace, mentor Sales Associates, and help create an energized and collaborative selling environment. You will also support the Store Management team with opening and closing responsibilities and serve as Manager-on-Duty when the Store Manager or Assistant Manager is not present. In addition to your hourly base pay, you will earn up to 3% commission on individual sales, with the opportunity to earn up to 4% based on the store’s achievement of its sales goals. Commission is subject to the applicable commission plan. WHAT YOU’LL DO DRIVE SALES AND CLIENT EXPERIENCE Deliver personalized service and styling that reflects the Veronica Beard experienceTake ownership of individual sales goals by converting in-store traffic and proactively generating business, contributing to the store’s overall performanceBuild, maintain and engage an active client book through consistent outreach, thoughtful follow-up, community engagement, and in-store events to drive new and repeat businessDevelop expert knowledge of our collections, fit, product stories, and styling to drive individual and store salesStay curious and current on fashion trends, helping clients build thoughtfully styled wardrobes that reflect their individual style. LEAD THE SALES FLOOR Maintain an active leadership presence, lead by example and help move the business forwardCommunicate daily priorities, organize floor coverage, and lead team touch-basesMentor Sales Associates through team selling and thoughtful, in-the-moment coaching on selling, styling, and clientelingRecognize strong performance and share relevant feedback with Store ManagementHelp create an inclusive, collaborative, and results-driven environment where different perspectives are valued UPHOLD OUR VISUAL AND BRAND STANDARDS Represent the fashion, style, and service standards of Veronica Beard with authenticity and passionSupport execution of floor sets and visual updates in partnership with Store ManagementEnsure merchandise, fixtures, and displays reflect current visual directionMaintain a clean, organized, and client-ready store environmentCommunicate product, inventory, and visual opportunities to Store Management SUPPORT STORE OPERATIONS Serve as Manager-on-Duty based on scheduling, in partnership with store leadershipOpen and close the store and follow all key-control, cash-handling, and security proceduresTake initiative in supporting inventory management, loss prevention, and daily operational prioritiesHelp protect company assets and maintain accuracy across cash and inventory processesFollow and respectfully reinforce company policies and procedures WHO YOU ARE 1+ years of retail sales experience in a high-touch, client focused environmentPrevious keyholder, senior sales, or retail leadership experience preferredExperience in luxury or contemporary fashion with a strong foundation in styling, and clienteling, is preferredPassionate about selling, fashion, styling, and building lasting client relationshipsStrong knowledge of current fashion trends and the ability to create complete looksDemonstrated ability to take ownership and achieve individual sales goalsConfident leading, mentoring, and supporting others with authenticity and respectStrong communication, judgment, and problem-solving skillsCollaborative, self-aware, and open to feedback and different perspectivesAbility to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and opening or closing shifts PHYSICAL DEMANDS Ability to operate a computer and cash registerAbility to stand, walk, bend, squat, twist, and climb ladders measuring 6–12 feetAbility to grasp, push, lift, and/or carry items weighing up to 25lbs At Veronica Beard, we are committed to creating and maintaining a workplace where every single employee can thrive and feel valued.
