The Sales Service Representative will play a pivotal role in supporting strategic sales initiatives in the assigned sales region, collaborating closely with the Sales Representatives in that area. Professionalism and business execution are critical contributions to driving business forward for our customers, vendors, and ourselves.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining a detailed and specific call routine with a designated ledger of customers
- Maintenance and execution of company programs and initiatives (racks, plan-o-grams, ordering, and merchandising activities)
- Attending to customer needs and concerns promptly via phone and/or email
- Finding solutions to possible customer challenges with assistance
- Identifying and reducing out-of-stocks on shelves
- Ensuring products are fresh and within date code parameters
- Ensuring plan-o-gram, marketing best practices, and compliance in stores
- Identifying display opportunities and maximizing display positioning
- Ensuring that products are properly displayed, priced, and identified
- Performing other tasks and duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate
- 1-2 years of working experience in a customer service, merchandising or sales position
- Ability to drive to customer locations using personal transportation (mileage and gasoline reimbursement provided)
- Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle, and proper valid insurance
- Must be exceptionally organized and able to multi-task
- Ability to travel as needed (minimum travel required)
- Must be analytical / computer literate
- Must have great communication skills
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a strong ability to manage a high volume of customer calls and emails with professionalism and efficiency, proven customer service skills, and a collaborative mindset with the ability to partner effectively with the sales team to drive customer satisfaction and growth.
Pay
Compensation is $25 - $30/hour (Depending on Experience), with additional benefits including a car allowance, mileage reimbursement program, and cell phone allowance.
Schedule
Monday through Friday schedule, with minimum travel required.
