Sales Representative (Medicare)

About the role
Provide sales coverage and develop best possible market penetration for all products to present and prospective accounts in an assigned territory in accordance with company's policies and programs. Provide greater access to health insurance by educating and assisting Medicare individuals. Distribute health education materials, arrange health screenings, and provide facilitated enrollment to help facilitate the continuance of health insurance and offer assistance with recertification.
Responsibilities
- Identify prospective enrollees and determine eligibility for participation in the Advantage Medicare product.
- Understand and apply all policies and procedures pertaining to disclosures, provisions, enrollment, and disenrollment of the Advantage Medicare product.
- Develop a presence in the local community to generate enrollments through outreach and engagement.
- Conduct home visits and personalized appointments as needed to complete the enrollment process.
- Market Advantage on-site at hospitals, senior centers, assisted living facilities, community events, and other designated sites.
- Understand covered benefits, non-covered benefits, exclusions, and exemptions.
- Assist members in accessing healthcare, transportation, and other services or issues as they occur.
- Keep informed and adhere to current marketing activity guidelines set forth by regulatory agencies, including providing enrollees with all corresponding materials and documentation.
- Monitor competitive products and marketing practices, and report findings to management.
- Conduct and participate in telemarketing and outreach efforts as required.
- Attend and participate in sales meetings, training programs, conventions, and special events.
- Complete applications in a timely and accurate manner.
- Submit special reports regarding territory operations, product acceptance or rejection, and competitive conditions.
- Perform other duties as assigned and comply with all policies and standards.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- 1+ years of marketing, sales, or community relations experience, including previous managed care experience, preferably in Medicare.
- State Accident and Health Insurance Agent License (upon hire).
- Current state driver's license (upon hire).
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred; specific language skills may be required by some plans.
Candidates should reside in Palm Beach County, Broward County, or surrounding communities. This is a remote, field-based role requiring community outreach, member engagement, and participation in local events. Medicare Advantage sales experience is strongly preferred.
Pay
$48,300.00 - $82,400.00 per year. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law, including full-time or part-time status. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives.
