Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication methods.
- Provide technical assistance to customers for all Daniel Defense products.
- Process various types of sales orders as needed.
- Assist with administrative office tasks such as filing documents, preparing for events, and organizing work areas.
- Engage in technical discussions with customers and internal teams through phone, email, and contact forms.
- Receive inbound sales inquiries from commercial, military, and law enforcement customers, gather information, and provide a handoff to the appropriate department.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to Safety, 6S, Quality, Delivery, and Productivity.
- Update and maintain account records within a Customer Resource Management (CRM) system.
- Maintain high standards of integrity, safety, and professionalism, and contribute to a positive team culture.
- Demonstrate commitment to and leadership of environmental health and safety principles, policies, and procedures.
- Participate in the company’s efforts to continuously improve in Safety, 6S, Quality, Delivery, and Productivity.
- Contribute to company standards on high integrity, safety, fair and equitable treatment, and a positive work environment.
- Perform other responsibilities as deemed appropriate or necessary by management.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of related sales experience, or a combination of related experience, education, and/or training to sufficiently and successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills with excellent recordkeeping.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, solve problems, and meet deadlines independently.
- Competent with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook; experience with CRM or ERP tools preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to recognize and work within our Company Values.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, and bending throughout the normal work day—extensively at trade shows, meetings, etc.
- Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment, including exposure to noise, chemicals, lights/lasers, and machinery.
- Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protection Equipment as required by position and/or Company policy.
