That's why we’re looking for a Regional Sales Manager on the West Coast to join our mission.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Negotiates sales and executes purchase orders in line with Company policies.
  • Achieves revenue quotas through the creation of sales leads, initiation of prospect calls, and establishment of ongoing rapport with existing and new customers.
  • Answers questions and offers suggestions to prospects based on a thorough knowledge of the product line.
  • Offers additional products/services to customers related to the sale and overcome objections of prospective customers.
  • Supports Manufacturers Rep network in achieving annual order quota, to include setting expectations, meeting resource and training needs, monitoring progress, and motivating the selling of Company products.
  • Maintains accurate and up to date information on all opportunities and customer contact details in Company systems.
  • Sets up and delivers sales presentations, product/service demonstrations, and other sales actions.
  • Supports other Company personnel as required in closing out customer issues such as field troubleshooting and payment.
  • Creates development plans to promote profitable and reliable growth of sales in target regions and segments.
  • Forecasts, reports, and analyzes of regional and segment sales and margin results.
  • Manages and reports on budgets for assigned territory.
  • Evaluates and presents recommendations of products and services aligning with targeted regions.
  • Acts as the liaison between customers and internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Performs site visits during the equipment installations and supports startup events as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business or international studies.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a sales capacity.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of international business experience required.
  • Technical knowledge/familiarity of wastewater treatment equipment (municipal and/or industrial).
  • Experience with international travel required.
  • Valid passport and ability to travel to and from locations within assigned territories.
  • Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
    • Knowledge of Environmental regulations, municipal and industrial water treatment required.
    • Communication and writing proficiency.
    • Microsoft Office applications proficiency.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to sit for long periods of time.
  • Complex thinking and analysis required.
  • Works in office environment or remotely, however, may be required to visit production sites and exposed to outdoor elements.
