Sales Ops Project Manager
This role bridges the gap between the sales team and broader commercial functions, ensuring alignment with overall business strategies, market opportunities, and customer needs. The Project Manager of Revenue Operations will lead coordination efforts within RevOps functions including Sales Operations, Data and Analytics, and Commercial Operations teams, and collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, IT, and other commercial teams to ensure seamless execution of sales processes, maximize revenue, and support the organization’s continued growth. Based in Arlington, VA, this role reports to the Head of Revenue Operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide senior-level leadership for complex, cross-functional revenue initiatives that drive growth, improve pipeline performance, enhance customer experience, and deliver measurable financial outcomes.
- Own and govern large-scale, high-impact programs across the Revenue organization, ensuring alignment with revenue strategy, commercial priorities, and enterprise objectives.
- Establish and enforce standardized, scalable revenue workflows and delivery frameworks, proactively identifying risks, dependencies, and opportunities to accelerate execution and adoption.
- Direct all aspects of project delivery, including scope, timelines, resourcing, budgets, risk mitigation, and change management, while anticipating and resolving issues before they impact revenue results.
- Serve as a strategic partner to the Revenue Leadership team and executive stakeholders, providing clear communication, data-driven insights, and recommendations to support decision-making.
- Lead the development of comprehensive business cases, value propositions, and investment justifications that quantify revenue impact, efficiency gains, and return on investment.
- Oversee business process assessments and guide cross-functional teams to ensure initiatives are designed for scalability and align with long-term revenue goals.
- Influence and align stakeholders across Product, Finance, Engineering, HR, and Legal to deliver integrated solutions that support revenue growth and operational excellence.
- Mentor and provide guidance to project managers, promoting best practices in project governance, execution discipline, and continuous improvement.
- Establish and report on key performance indicators to track progress, adoption, and execution.
Requirements
- College degree with coursework in information systems, business, engineering, or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Formal training in project management strongly preferred.
- Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in information systems, including three years of experience managing mid-sized projects.
- Experience in Consulting highly preferred.
Pay
Compensation range: $100,000.00–$125,000.00. Placement in the salary range will be determined based on factors including relevant experience, demonstrated skills, education, certifications, and geographic location.
