Sales Operations Specialist
About Cleerly
We're Cleerly – a healthcare company revolutionizing how heart disease is diagnosed, treated, and tracked. Founded in 2017 by one of the world's leading cardiologists, we are a growing team of world-class engineering, operations, medical affairs, marketing, and sales leaders. We raised $223M in Series C funding in 2022 and an additional $106M in a Series C extension in December 2024. Most teams work remotely with access to offices in Denver, Colorado; New York, New York; Dallas, Texas; and Lisbon, Portugal. Some roles require on-site presence.
Cleerly has created a new standard of care for heart disease through value-based, AI-driven precision diagnostic solutions aimed at preventing heart attacks. Our technology enables comprehensive quantification and characterization of atherosclerosis (plaque buildup) in heart arteries, supported by over a decade of clinical trials.
We collaborate using Google Workspace (GMail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides), Slack, Confluence/Jira, and Zoom. While primarily remote, some travel is required for team meetings or cross-functional projects (typically once per month or quarter; up to 90% for sales or external-facing roles).
About the Role
Cleerly is seeking a data-driven, business-minded Sales Operations professional to bring clarity to complex reporting, usage data, and compensation structures. This role thrives at the intersection of systems, process, and strategy—connecting disparate data across multiple systems, uncovering revenue insights, and driving operational excellence across the Commercial organization. The ideal candidate is uniquely data-literate, ensuring 100% commission and reporting accuracy while translating insights for executives and sales reps.
Responsibilities
- Own the data validation, calculation, and end-to-end execution of quarterly commercial commission plans across multiple complex structures (including consumption/usage-based models).
- Serve as the primary bridge between Salesforce (CRM) and Looker (product consumption data), resolving mapping discrepancies to ensure data accuracy before commissions are finalized.
- Develop, maintain, and interpret high-impact reports across Salesforce and Looker for Sales leadership, C-Suite executives, Board members, and investors.
- Collect and synthesize data from multiple sources to identify trends, gaps, and growth opportunities across the commercial pipeline.
- Partner with Sales, Sales Ops, and leadership to define, automate, and track key business health metrics, pipeline quality, and recurring board-level performance reports.
- Assist leadership with commercial planning, data modeling, forecasting, quota disbursement, and territory scenario modeling.
- Communicate insights to diverse stakeholders, including sales representatives, executives, and internal teams.
- Perform root-cause analysis on data gaps between Salesforce, Looker, and billing systems, implementing processes to eliminate future discrepancies.
- Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to navigate fast-paced, high-growth challenges with minimal direction.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of experience in Commercial Operations, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or Business Operations.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and modern business intelligence tools (Looker preferred; Tableau, PowerBI acceptable). Ability to audit and trace data gaps between platforms is required.
- Strong Salesforce user skills (reporting, dashboards, custom views, pipeline analysis).
- Proven ability to translate complex, technical datasets into actionable strategic insights for non-technical partners.
- Extreme attention to detail with an audit-focused mindset; comfortable managing tight deadlines (especially quarter-end close cycles).
- Understanding of MedTech, consumption/usage-based pricing, or healthcare technology commercial models is highly preferred.
- Self-motivated critical thinker able to proactively complete tasks with minimal supervision.
- Intuitive grasp of business logic to identify discrepancies before they are flagged by others.
- Comfort with ambiguity; track record of structuring solutions for unmapped data challenges with minimal direction.
Skills
- Bonus Skills: Basic to intermediate SQL for querying data warehouses; experience with Salesforce CPQ, Advanced Forecasting, or territory design tools; exposure to Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) tools (e.g., CaptivateIQ, QuotaPath, Everstage).
Pay
The base salary range for this role varies by location and is aligned to market benchmarks. Candidates in higher-cost labor markets (e.g., California, Washington, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Washington, DC) represent the middle to high end of the range, while other U.S. locations represent the low to middle end. Final compensation is determined based on location, experience, skills, and internal equity.
This role is eligible for a 10% target annual bonus, resulting in the following ranges:
- Base Salary: $90,000 – $115,000
- Total Target Compensation (TTC): $99,000 – $126,500
