Sales Operations Manager

SimX · San Francisco, CA · 1 mo ago
RemoteRemoteBusiness Development$120k–$150k/yrFull-time
We need to output HTML fragment with sections for headings: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Only include sections that have real specific content. We need to parse the posting. We have: - Reports to: Vice President, Sales - Location: Remote, United States - Type: Full-time, exempt Company description: SimX is a fast-growing company bringing VR/AR to medical simulation training. Acquired by Madison Industries, etc. This is "About the company" maybe but we need "About the role"? The posting includes "THE JOB" description: SimX is scaling across health systems... As we continue to grow, the Sales Operations Manager will build and manage processes... This is a hands-on builder role responsible for five core areas: deal desk management; sales performance and analytics; forecasting and pipeline management; territory, quota, and compensation; and sales systems and processes. The role will work closely with VP of Sales and partner across Finance, Legal, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product and will manage 1 FTE. Thus we can put "About the role" section with that description. Then "Responsibilities": list of core responsibilities with bullet points: Deal Desk Management, Sales Performance & Analytics, Forecasting & Pipeline Management, Territory, Quota & Compensation, Sales Systems & Process. Each has sub-bullets. We need to use
  • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. So we can have a
      with each responsibility as
    • and within each maybe nested
        for subpoints? The instruction: Use
        • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. It doesn't forbid nested lists. We'll produce nested lists. Then "Requirements": maybe Minimum Qualifications. Use
          • . "Qualifications": maybe Preferred Qualifications. "Skills": maybe not explicitly listed; but we could extract skills from qualifications: Advanced Salesforce expertise, strong Excel, financial modeling, BI/reporting tools, etc. However we should not invent sections unless posting has real specific content. The posting does not have a separate "Skills" heading, but we could include a Skills section if we can derive from content? The instruction: "include a section ONLY when the posting has real, specific content for it". There's no explicit Skills section, but we could treat the qualifications as skills. However they'd be duplicated. Safer to not create a Skills section unless there is explicit skill list. The posting includes "Advanced Salesforce expertise, including reporting, dashboards, validation rules, approval processes, and data management." That's a skill. Also "Strong Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with BI or reporting tools." Also "Ability to turn data into clear recommendations". Also "Experience partnering effectively across Sales, Finance, Legal, Marketing, and Customer Success." Those are skills/experience. But they are part of qualifications. The instruction says we can have sections like Skills, but only if posting has real specific content for it. Since the posting does not have a dedicated Skills heading, but we could still create a Skills section if we extract skill statements. However that might be considered inventing a section not present. Safer to follow the headings list: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We need to decide which to include based on content. We have: - About the role: yes. - Responsibilities: yes. - Requirements: Minimum Qualifications (we can treat as Requirements). - Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications. - Skills: Not explicitly separate; but we could combine with Requirements/Qualifications. Probably better to omit Skills section. - Benefits: Yes, there is a "Compensation & Benefits" section with details: Target salary range, Remote work environment, SimX covers 99% of employee premiums and 50% of dependent premiums for medical, dental, and vision, 401(k) with employer matching, Company laptop, home office credit, and internet reimbursement, Unlimited PTO. - Pay: The posting includes "Target salary range: $120,000–$150,000 annually; commensurate with experience". That's pay info. Should we create a Pay section? The instruction: "never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless the posting actually states them." It does state target salary range, so we can include Pay section. However we also have Benefits section that includes some of those items. The compensation & benefits section includes salary range and benefits. We could split: Pay section for salary range, Benefits section for other benefits. That seems appropriate. - Schedule: Not mentioned besides Full-time, exempt. Could we consider Schedule as full-time? The posting says Type: Full-time, exempt. That's schedule info. Should we create a Schedule section? The instruction: never create Schedule unless posting actually states them. It does state Full-time, exempt. So we could include Schedule section with that info. However we might also incorporate schedule into About the role or elsewhere. But we have a dedicated Schedule heading allowed. Since they explicitly mention full-time, we can include Schedule. We must not repeat the job title as a heading. The job title is Sales Operations Manager (implied). Not to use as heading. We must not put Job ID/requisition numbers as headings; none present. We must remove boilerplate: EEO, equal-opportunity, scam-warning, etc. Remove those paragraphs at end. We must preserve all substantive information; do not invent or summarize away detail. We need to output only HTML fragment, no /, no markdown fences. Let's craft. Structure:

We need to ensure we didn't include any boilerplate like EEO etc. We removed those paragraphs. Check that we didn't include any "About the company" content besides the brief description in About the role. The About the role we used the THE JOB paragraph. Should we also include company description? The instruction: About the role section for role description. The company description could be considered part of About the role? Might be okay to include a brief about company in About the role? But we already have a description of the role's purpose. The company description is not strictly about the role but could be considered part of About the role. However we might risk adding content not strictly about role but it's still substantive and not duplicated elsewhere. The instruction: "use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." It doesn't forbid including company description in About the role. But we must not repeat the job title as a heading. It's fine. We could incorporate the company description into About the role paragraph: "SimX is a fast-growing company bringing virtual and augmented reality to medical simulation training. At the end of 2024, we were acquired by Madison Industries, a partnership that has provided a surge in resources to accelerate our growth and mission. Our professional-grade VR system is the first of its kind, used by physicians, nurses, and paramedics to reduce medical errors and save lives. We are looking for a mission
