About the Role
This role is part of the Global Sales Operations organization, reporting to the Director of Field Operations. The Sales Operations Manager will lead efforts around deal management, working closely with Account Management, Regional Sales VPs, and other internal stakeholders involved in potential business transactions. You will serve as a strong business partner and trusted advisor for the Sales teams, ensuring consistent end-to-end management of non-standard deals in alignment with the Company’s policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Sales Operations Analyst in managing, supporting, and coordinating the deal structuring, review, and approval process.
- Display significant judgment skills to ensure the Company optimizes its margins, effectively mitigates risks, and remains commercially competitive.
- Establish relationships with functional teams to enable close interactions for deal reviews and approvals, including active executive engagement.
- Cultivate internal relationships with all levels of the sales organization.
- Manage all non-standard deals for assigned accounts or geography.
- Work with the Sales Team to optimize deals, mitigate risks, and prevent potential channel or country/theater conflicts.
- Facilitate deal reviews and approvals by managing the communication and structuring of non-standard business opportunities.
- Perform scenario analysis, "what-if" comparisons, and sensitivity analysis during the deal structuring cycle.
- Collaborate and share best practices across geographies/regions.
- Demonstrate flexibility in schedule to ensure real-time global coverage.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree in Business Administration (Accounting, Finance, Marketing).
- Minimum of 7+ years of work experience in Sales Operations, Marketing, Finance, or Accounting.
- Strong leadership ability and time management skills; ability to work effectively under time pressure.
- Strong quantitative analytical skills and strategic thinking.
- Solution-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with NetSuite and SFDC is desirable.
