Sales Operations - Branch Manager

About the role

The Branch Manager at Superior Traffic Control is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the branch while ensuring exceptional customer service, operational efficiency, project profitability, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily branch operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
• Supervise the Administrative Assistant and Superintendent, providing leadership, coaching, and performance management.
• Manage project execution, including profitability, ticket verification, quantity reviews, and overall project performance.
• Maintain project progress, workforce productivity, and compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
• Coordinate logistics for equipment, materials, and jobsite resources.
• Manage sign shop operations and maintain accurate inventory control.
• Ensure consistent implementation and enforcement of company policies and procedures, particularly regarding human resources, safety, and quality control.
• Aid in recruiting, hiring, employee development, performance counseling, disciplinary actions, and terminations as needed.
• Take an active, hands-on role in construction management to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Provide leadership and oversight for branch personnel while supporting company-wide initiatives and operational improvements.
• Identify opportunities to improve branch performance, increase profitability, and support business growth.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience managing operations, construction projects, or field service teams.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.

Preferred

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification.
• Experience in traffic control, roadway construction, or heavy civil construction.
