Sales Operations Analyst, Defense
for each section heading. Only include sections that have real specific content. Do not repeat job title. Remove boilerplate like EEO, application instructions, etc. Must preserve all substantive info.
We need to parse the posting.
Content:
- About This Role: includes description of role, responsibilities, etc. We'll need to separate sections.
Let's extract:
**About the role**: The paragraph: "The Sales Operations Analyst supports the Defense Business Unit by serving as a central link among customers, sales, finance, engineering, and manufacturing. This onsite role manages both transactional and analytical work across the Defense sales cycle, including customer inquiries, quotations, order entry, invoicing, reporting, pipeline visibility, and forecast support. Accuracy, responsiveness, and disciplined follow‑through are essential to ensuring customer requirements are understood and orders progress smoothly from opportunity through fulfillment. The ideal candidate is highly organized and comfortable working with data, business systems, and has excellent communication and customer service skills. They must also be able to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced dynamic manufacturing environment. This person will develop a working knowledge of Kennon's defense products, customers, and contracting environment while modeling our core values of integrity, caring, daring, and responsiveness."
We can put that under About the role
as
. **Responsibilities**: The list under "Job Duties/responsibilities". It's a bullet list (though not formatted). We need to extract each duty as
for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." It says e.g., meaning those are examples but we can use other headings? It says "use for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." Likely they expect only those headings. But we have "About Kennon" content; maybe we can incorporate into "About the role" or drop? The instruction: "Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones." We could include "About Kennon" as a subsection under "About the role"? But they said do NOT repeat the job title as a heading (the page already shows it) and do NOT put Job ID / requisition numbers as headings — fold minor metadata into a short
or drop it. They didn't forbid other headings, but they gave examples. Safer to stick to those headings; we can put Kennon description under "About the role" as additional paragraph. **Benefits**: listed: Dental insurance, Health insurance, Health savings account, Life insurance, Paid time off, Vision insurance. **Pay**: "$50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year" **Schedule**: Not explicitly given. There's "Job Type: Full‑time" and "Work Location: In person". No schedule details like hours. So we should not create a Schedule section unless posting actually states them. It does not state schedule specifics, so we omit Schedule. **Skills**: Not explicitly listed as a separate section; but we could infer from qualifications. However we should only create a Skills section if posting actually states them. There's no explicit "Skills" heading. So we omit Skills. **Requirements**: We have Minimum qualifications & Requirements and Preferred Qualifications & Requirements and Physical Requirements. Could combine into Requirements section. But we also have Qualifications heading allowed. Might split: Requirements (minimum) and Qualifications (preferred). However we have both minimum and preferred; we could put minimum under Requirements, preferred under Qualifications. Physical Requirements could be under Requirements as well. Let's decide: -
About the role
with paragraph(s) covering role description and maybe Kennon description. -Responsibilities
with- ...
Requirements
with- ... (minimum qualifications)
Qualifications
with- ... (preferred qualifications)
Benefits
with- ...
Pay
with$50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
We must not include Schedule. Check for any other substantive content: "Job Type: Full‑time" and "Work Location: In person". Could be considered metadata; we could fold into a shortunder About the role or maybe under Requirements? The instruction: "fold minor metadata into a short
or drop it." So we can include a short paragraph after About the role maybe: "
Job Type: Full‑time • Work Location: In person
" That's minor metadata. Also "Occasional travel when necessary." is part of Physical Requirements; we already have that. Now ensure we don't include boilerplate: EEO, equal opportunity, application instructions, cover letter request, recruiting email, etc. Remove those. Also remove "About This Role Kennon is an equal opportunity employer..." etc. So we need to strip that. Now produce HTML fragment. Let's craft:About the role
