Sales Officer, Modern Trade (BRAC Dairy and Food Project)

Responsibilities

• Ensure product availability and proper product merchandising in assigned outlets.
• Collect demand from outlets and submit to delivery through ERP.
• Provide delivery support.
• Handle cash and cheque collection, and deposit to bank or head office.
• Collect GRN (Goods Received Note) and calculate outlet-wise dues.
• Preserve party-wise challan according to date for payment collection.
• Submit product requisitions from distribution center to outlet.
• Contact customers, inform them of product advantages, and influence product purchases during working hours.
• Collect competitor promotional activities and other relevant information on a regular basis.
• Disseminate company communications to outlets, such as price change letters and promotional updates.

Safeguarding Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of team members from harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the program’s safeguarding goals.
• Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding to establish a safe working environment.
• Practice, promote, and endorse the safeguarding policy among team members and ensure its implementation in all actions.
• Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case of any reportable incident and encourage others to do the same.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
