About the role
As a Sales Manager, you will sell and promote Saft Rail batteries with the objective to grow sales, promote products of Saft brands, and satisfy customers in North America. You will manage sales directly to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and transit authorities. Your responsibilities include achieving booking and sales budget goals, maximizing margins, assisting with account payable issues, establishing and developing partnerships with Technical Authorities (TA) and OEMs, and performing cost-benefit and needs analyses of existing and potential customers.
Responsibilities

- Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers
- Identify and establish relationships with consultants, engineering firms, EPCs, FEEDs serving the power generation and distribution/industrial market
- Plan and execute technical presentations
- Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments
- Analyze the territory/market's potential, track sales and status reports
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
- Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
- Continuously improve through feedback internally and externally
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
- Proven work experience as a B2B outside sales representative, preferably in the electrical solutions or other technology product market
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in field sales for technical solutions
- Proven record in achieving growth and budget on a consistent basis
- Proficient with computers and advanced knowledge of MS Office
- Familiarity with Business Relationship Management (BRM) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) practices
- Ability to build productive business professional relationships
- Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales
- Excellent selling, negotiation, and communication skills
- Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience's needs
- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
- Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time
