Are you a relationship-driven hotel sales professional who thrives on winning new business, building lasting client partnerships, and exceeding revenue goals? Hyatt Regency Reston is looking for an experienced Group Sales Manager to join our high-performing Commercial Services team.
Responsibilities
- Possess a consultative sales approach, strong business acumen, and the ability to manage a diverse portfolio while consistently achieving ambitious revenue goals.
- Manage an existing portfolio of accounts while identifying opportunities to expand market share.
- Conduct engaging hotel site inspections that showcase Hyatt Regency Reston's exceptional meeting facilities.
- Prepare customized proposals, contracts, and presentations that convert opportunities into booked business.
- Negotiate contracts and close business while maximizing hotel revenue and profitability.
- Partner with Events, Revenue Management, Operations, and Commercial Services to ensure a seamless customer experience from contract through program execution.
- Maintain accurate account activity, forecasts, and reporting using Hyatt sales systems.
- Participate in sales strategy meetings and collaborate with teammates to achieve hotel-wide revenue objectives.
Requirements

- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
- Refined verbal and written communication skills
- A minimum of 1-3 years of Hotel Sales experience
- Must be proficient in general computer knowledge
- Prefer completion of a Hyatt Corporate Management Training Program or equivalent training
- Have completed selling, negotiating, business writing and presentation skills training
