Job Summary
The Position Sales Manager - Building Solutions is seeking an experienced, highly motivated individual to oversee and grow Imerys' Dry Mix product segment. This role involves managing large, global key accounts and driving technical sales strategy across premium industry manufacturers.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact and strategic partner for large, global accounts.
- Drive sales volume and revenue targets within the Building and Construction dry mix sector (managing a significant territory portfolio of ~92K tons / $68M value).
- Utilize a strong technical background to understand client manufacturing needs, aligning product features and specifications with dry mix production requirements.
- Collaborate closely with internal technical, operations, and logistics teams to ensure seamless product delivery and client satisfaction.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive territory plan to maintain existing business while strategically identifying new market opportunities.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven track record in technical sales or account management within the building materials, chemical, or construction industries (specific experience with dry mix production or chemical additives is highly preferred).
- Strong understanding of industrial formulations, technical product specifications, and manufacturing processes within the construction sector.
- Home-based role. Candidates should ideally be located in the Southeastern USA with convenient, reliable access to a major airport.
- Ability to travel up to 50% to meet with key accounts and attend industry events.
