Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate internal and external activities related to the sales and marketing of flour products.
- Serve as a key liaison between customers and internal teams while driving growth and ensuring exceptional service.
- Manage customer relationships, including pricing, contract negotiation, and account development.
- Prospect and develop new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
- Maintain sales volume, product mix, and pricing by monitoring market trends, supply and demand, and competitors.
- Build strong, long-term customer partnerships by understanding customer needs and business objectives.
- Travel to customer locations and industry events to promote products and strengthen relationships.
- Support development and execution of strategic sales plans to meet growth objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, transportation, and co-product sales.
- Act as a liaison between sales and internal departments to ensure alignment and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and maintain sales reports, customer data, and performance tracking.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and team collaboration.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of sales and customer service experience.
- A degree in Business or a related field is preferred, but equivalent industry experience is considered.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Knowledge of milling, food production, or manufacturing is preferred.
- The ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A strong customer focus with the ability to manage complex account needs.
