Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate internal and external activities related to the sales and marketing of flour products.
  • Serve as a key liaison between customers and internal teams while driving growth and ensuring exceptional service.
  • Manage customer relationships, including pricing, contract negotiation, and account development.
  • Prospect and develop new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
  • Maintain sales volume, product mix, and pricing by monitoring market trends, supply and demand, and competitors.
  • Build strong, long-term customer partnerships by understanding customer needs and business objectives.
  • Travel to customer locations and industry events to promote products and strengthen relationships.
  • Support development and execution of strategic sales plans to meet growth objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, transportation, and co-product sales.
  • Act as a liaison between sales and internal departments to ensure alignment and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and maintain sales reports, customer data, and performance tracking.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and team collaboration.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of sales and customer service experience.
  • A degree in Business or a related field is preferred, but equivalent industry experience is considered.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of milling, food production, or manufacturing is preferred.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A strong customer focus with the ability to manage complex account needs.
